August 26, 2024 San Diego, California - California Western School of Law has announced that Mark Simpliciano, Associate Attorney at Garcia Hong Law, will be honored with the Rising Star Alumni Award at the Centennial Alumni Golf Tournament and Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner on September 20. 

Mark’s exceptional contributions have set him apart from many remarkable nominees, showcasing his outstanding achievements and dedication. Mark has served as co-President of Tom Homann LGBTQ+ Lawyers Association and Director of Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego.

Mark represents individuals and small businesses in business litigation matters. Based on his experience on both sides of the aisle, Mark has handled claims related to negligence, wrongful death, contract disputes, and defamation claims.
